The Hippocampus is a mythological creature that is half horse, half fish.
He cavorts and frolics through the waves and is the favorite steed of the
classical sea god Neptune. Jeff has depicted The Hippocampus in his
underwater lair surrounded by coral and fish with a repeating scallop shell
frame.

 The relief measures 4' 10" wide by 3' 4" high and is cast in Forton
(exterior, fiberglass reinforced plaster). The Hippocampus is part of a
series of unique, classically inspired wall reliefs. Casts of this relief
